JVC Everio Camcorder Controls

The picture below shows the top view of the camera.  The sliding switch is in the "off" position.  Sliding it back one click puts the camera in "playback" mode.  Sliding the switch back two clicks puts the camera in "record" mode.  The "zoom" control, usually operated with the right forefinger can also be seen.  The silver "record" and "pause" button is operated by the right thumb.

The picture below shows the camera's LCD screen, which folds out and can also be rotated for self recording.  To the left of the screen is a small joystick control, which moves in four directions, and also has a "press" action.  There is also a menu button below the joystick control.

The picture below shows the side view of the camera with the LCD screen folded out.  The blue "MODE" switch allows the user to switch between taking video footage and still pictures.  There are also four buttons, one of which is used to delete unwanted files from the camera's hard disk.
